Trustguide helps businesses display review notifications and social proof on their websites.
The Trustguide Widget plugin connects your WordPress site to your Trustguide account. After logging in, you can select the workspace whose reviews should appear on your WordPress website. The plugin then automatically loads your Trustguide widget across your WordPress website.
Typical setup:
- Install and activate the plugin.
- Open WordPress Admin Trustguide.
- Log in with your Trustguide account.
- Select a Trustguide workspace.
- Click Install Trustguide widget, or Update installed workspace if you are changing the selected workspace.
- View your website and confirm the widget appears.
This plugin connects to the Trustguide SaaS service at https://app.trustguide.ai.
External services
This plugin connects to Trustguide to authenticate your Trustguide account, retrieve your available workspaces, create a scoped WordPress connection, retrieve the selected workspace widget script URL, and load the public Trustguide widget script on your website.
Data sent during setup includes your Trustguide email/password for authentication, your WordPress site URL, site name, plugin version, and the selected workspace ID. The plugin does not store your Trustguide password. After installation, it stores only a scoped connection token and the widget script URL.

- Install the plugin from WordPress Admin Plugins Add New.
- Activate the plugin.
- Open WordPress Admin Trustguide.
- Log in with your Trustguide account.
- Select your Trustguide workspace.
- Click Install Trustguide widget, or Update installed workspace if you are changing the selected workspace.
- Confirm the widget is enabled and visible on your public website.
