Turn a WooCommerce category — or any list of product IDs — into a clean, responsive comparison table, without configuring a single column.
SpecCompare reads the attributes you already have on your products, builds the union of every attribute across the selected products, and renders one row per spec and one column per product. Rows where the products actually differ can be highlighted with a single click, so shoppers see the decision-relevant differences instead of a wall of identical values.

Free vs Pro
Everything above is in this free version, unrestricted — no table limits, no product limits, no feature locked behind a trial. SpecCompare Pro is a separate, optional upgrade that adds AI-selected comparison rows: instead of listing every attribute, it picks the specs that actually differentiate the products in the table (bring your own OpenAI-compatible API key). You never need Pro to use the free plugin.
External services
This plugin uses the Freemius service to offer that optional upgrade, to activate licences, and to deliver updates to paying customers. On activation Freemius asks for your permission before sending anything; if you decline, no data leaves your site and the plugin keeps working. When you opt in, it sends your site URL, WordPress and PHP versions and the administrator email so licences and update notices can be delivered. See the Freemius terms and privacy policy. The free plugin makes no other outbound requests.

- Upload the
speccomparefolder to/wp-content/plugins/, or install the zip via Plugins Add New. - Activate the plugin. WooCommerce must be installed and active.
- Add a table to any page with the
[speccompare_table]shortcode or the “SpecCompare Table” block.

Do I have to configure which specs to compare?

No. The table is built from the product attributes already stored on the selected products, so it works immediately after activation.

Which products end up in the table?

Either the IDs you list (

Why do some rows look empty?

A cell is empty when that product does not define the attribute. The table shows the union of all attributes, so a product missing one simply has a blank cell for it.
