SnapAura Extensions Manager

外掛說明

SnapAura Extensions Manager helps you visually organize your plugins into custom categories on the Plugins screen. This is purely organizational – it does not affect plugin loading order, functionality, or your site’s performance.

Perfect for sites with many plugins, this tool makes it easy to find and manage your plugins by grouping them into meaningful categories like “SEO Tools”, “Security”, “E-commerce”, “Development”, etc.

Features:

  • Custom Categories – Create unlimited categories to organize your plugins
  • Collapsible Groups – Expand/collapse categories to reduce clutter
  • Quick Filter – Filter by category to see only specific plugin groups
  • Search Function – Instantly find plugins by name or description
  • Visual Organization – Clean, intuitive interface integrated into WordPress
  • Rename & Delete – Easily manage your categories
  • Plugin Counter – See how many plugins are in each category
  • Persistent State – Your organization is saved and remembered
  • No Performance Impact – Pure visual organization, doesn’t affect site speed
  • Works with Any Theme – Compatible with all WordPress admin themes

Use Cases:

  • Organize plugins by function (SEO, Security, Analytics, etc.)
  • Group plugins by client or project on multisite
  • Separate active development plugins from stable ones
  • Create categories for plugins you’re testing
  • Group related plugins together for easier management

How It Works:

  1. Go to your Plugins page (Plugins > Installed Plugins)
  2. Click “Assign Category” on any plugin
  3. Enter a category name (creates new categories automatically)
  4. Use collapse/expand arrows to manage screen space
  5. Filter by category or search to find plugins quickly

Important: This plugin only organizes how plugins are displayed in your admin panel. It does not disable, enable, or change the loading order of plugins. Your site functionality remains completely unchanged.

安裝方式

  1. Upload the plugin files to /wp-content/plugins/snapaura-plugin-organizer/, or install through the WordPress plugins screen
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress
  3. Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins and start organizing!
