Simple Admin Columns is very easy to use WordPress plugin. It helps you to create custom columns on the admin screens for posts and pages.
You can create a Modified Date sortable column and Post Thumbnail column for posts and pages in WordPress admin area by using a friendly interface.

- Navigate to the
Add Newin the plugins dashboard - Search for
Simple Admin Columns - Click
Install Now - Activate the plugin on the Plugin dashboard
- Configure the plugin by going to the
Settings > Simple Admin Columnsoptions.
Uploading in WordPress Dashboard
- Navigate to the
Add Newin the plugins dashboard - Navigate to the
Uploadarea - Select
simple-admin-columns.zipfrom your computer - Click
Install Now - Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard
- Configure the plugin by going to the
Settings > Simple Admin Columnsoptions.
Using FTP
- Download
simple-admin-columns.zip - Extract the
simple-admin-columnsdirectory to your computer - Upload the
simple-admin-columnsdirectory to the/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard
- Configure the plugin by going to the

- Where is the *.pot file for translating the plugin in any language?

If you want to contribute a translation of the plugin in your language it would be great! You would find the *.pot file in the ‘languages’ directory of this plugin. If you would send the *.po file to me I would include it in the next release of the plugin.

In the beginning, I was looking at the reviews of this plugin, not many. After I saw only a few reviews, I was a bit skeptical about this plugin. Anyway, I decided to give it a try, and after I have installed and tested it, this plugin was just what I have been looking for: simple, intuitive, and easy to use. You can even undo changes you have made. Give it a try! you will love it.

It does few things but does them well. I needed to add a SORTABLE column for modified date for pages in my admin columns and this little plugin did the trick. Simple and perfect.
