Add interactive finance calculators to posts and pages, built for German investors and German tax rules (Abgeltungsteuer, Teilfreistellung, church tax, saver’s allowance). Pick a calculator in the block editor or use a shortcode. Free, no account, no API key.
The calculators themselves are available in German and English. The plugin interface is in English and can be translated on translate.wordpress.org.

Privacy first
The two-click mode is on by default: visitors see a placeholder and load the calculator with a click. Until then, the page makes no connection to planafolio.com. The calculators set no cookies and show no advertising.
Light and dark theme, German and English
Set site-wide defaults under Settings Planafolio Finanzrechner and override them per block or shortcode.

You can show “Calculator provided by Planafolio” with a link below each calculator. It is off by default and the calculators work the same without it.

External services
This plugin embeds calculators from Planafolio (https://planafolio.com), a portfolio tracker and retirement planner for German investors. The calculations run on planafolio.com; the plugin itself only outputs an iframe.
- What is sent and when: when a visitor’s browser loads a calculator (immediately, or after clicking “Load calculator” in two-click mode), it requests
https://planafolio.com/embed/<calculator>. Like any web request, this transmits the visitor’s IP address, browser user agent and the referring page. The values typed into the calculator are processed in the visitor’s browser. They are only sent if the visitor actively shares a result or saves it in Planafolio. - Anonymous usage counts: the calculator reports three events to planafolio.com (calculator shown, first input, click on a Planafolio link), each containing only the calculator name and the hostname of your site. No cookies, no device storage, no entered values.

With two-click mode (default), no connection to planafolio.com is made until the visitor clicks. The calculators set no cookies; they only send anonymous usage counts without personal data (see External services). Mention the embedded service in your privacy policy as you would for any embedded content.

No. The calculators are models for illustration, not investment or tax advice.

Can I change colours or fonts?

The calculator comes in a light and a dark theme. Further styling is not possible because it runs inside an iframe.
