外掛說明
Geos AI Virtual Assistant helps visitors find information published on your WordPress website. Every answer is limited to public sources found on the site and includes links to those sources. If no public source is found, the assistant says so instead of inventing an answer.
Lite includes public post and page search, citations, a floating widget, a shortcode, rate limiting, and one selected WordPress AI connector and model. OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google Gemini are available through their official provider connector plugins. API usage is billed separately by your provider; no AI credits are included. Until the administrator completes that connector setup, the public widget politely shows that the assistant is being prepared and does not accept questions.
Pro adds live WooCommerce product search, in-stock product cards with images, image zoom, a clear View product button, advanced instructions and content rules, optional privacy-controlled analytics, and visitor-widget branding with a name and Media Library logo.
Use [geos_ai_virtual_assistant] to place the widget manually. The legacy [my_ai_asistent_chatbot] shortcode remains available for existing sites.
External services
The administrator installs and configures an AI provider connector in WordPress Settings > Connectors, then explicitly selects its provider and model in this plugin. The plugin uses the WordPress AI Client, not direct provider HTTP integrations. When a visitor submits a question and public sources are found, it sends the question, current public page URL, source titles, URLs and excerpts, and server-side instructions to the selected connector for processing by that provider. Pro can include public product information. No orders, customer accounts, or private posts are supplied. Without sources, no generation request is made. A manual administrator connection test sends only a short fixed prompt and may incur a small API charge. Provider discovery can request model metadata through the connector.
Credentials are managed by WordPress and its connector, never included in the plugin’s browser data or chat responses. Legacy plugin keys remain untouched and are not used. The plugin never automatically switches to another provider. Review the selected provider’s data retention and privacy policies before enabling the assistant.

Migrating from My AI Asistent / Chatbot
- Deactivate My AI Asistent / Chatbot v1.1.2, but do not remove it yet.
- Upgrade WordPress to 7.0 or newer, then install and activate Geos AI Virtual Assistant v1.3.1.
- Existing settings are preserved or copied from the legacy plugin. Encrypted keys are left untouched but no longer used: re-enter your key in Settings > Connectors, verify the model, and reconnect Freemius if prompted. The old Gemini provider identifier is mapped to Google’s connector identifier.
- After confirmation, remove the inactive legacy plugin.
Privacy
Lite does not store conversations. Pro analytics is optional, requires the administrator’s privacy confirmation, uses a pseudonymous session identifier instead of a raw IP address, and removes records after 90 days.
Translations
English is the source language. Translations are distributed through translate.wordpress.org and WordPress language packs, not bundled translation catalogs. Serbian-Latin language packs will become available when their translations are approved. Until then, untranslated strings appear in English.
安裝方式
- Install and activate the Lite package. Do not activate Lite and Pro at the same time.
- To start a trial or purchase Pro, use the plugin’s Upgrade link in WordPress. Freemius installs and activates the licensed Pro package, then deactivates Lite automatically. Use a manually downloaded Pro ZIP only if your host prevents WordPress from installing updates; deactivate Lite first.
- Install an official AI Provider for OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google plugin, then configure its key in Settings > Connectors.
- Open Geos AI Virtual Assistant, select a configured provider, enter its exact text model ID, and save settings. The setup status turns ready when both are selected. Use Test connection to verify it.
- Configure the public content scope and privacy policy URL. The assistant will remain in setup mode until its selected connector and model work.
