FreshRepo is a security-oriented repository manager specifically designed for post-hack remediation and file integrity restoration.
When a website is compromised, attackers frequently inject backdoors, webshells, and malicious PHP files into repository subdirectories. Traditional updates only overwrite existing matching filenames, leaving orphan malware files behind.
FreshRepo solves this:
* Smart Origin Identification: Automatically detects whether each installed item is hosted on the official WordPress.org repository or is a 3rd-party / custom / premium item.
* 1-Click Clean Reinstall: Downloads pristine zip packages directly from WordPress.org, completely deletes the existing directory to purge injected backdoors, and extracts fresh clean files.
* Bulk Reinstall Engine: Replaces all official items in an automated sequential AJAX batch with real-time progress bars and live execution terminal.
* Safety First: Automatically generates full ZIP snapshots in your uploads directory before wiping any directory.
* Detailed Audit Log: Keeps a complete record of reinstallation history, timestamps, versions, and statuses.

安裝方式
- Upload the
freshrepofolder to your/wp-content/plugins/directory. - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
- Navigate to the WP FreshRepo menu in your WordPress admin panel.

Does FreshRepo delete uploaded media or database content?

No. FreshRepo only replaces files within the target plugin’s own directory in
wp-content/plugins/. Your database options and uploads are untouched. -
Are backups created automatically?

Yes. FreshRepo automatically creates a full ZIP archive of the existing plugin directory in
wp-content/uploads/wp-freshrepo-backups/prior to any replacement.
