Please i begg would you build a option to add notifications on new post
for example:
when there is a new post in the catagory NEWS that there will be a notification that shows [ New post in NEWS ]
I will pay for it 😉 big donation is waiting for thisd option

Use of custom post type, and ability to say which posts/pages the notification appear on — good.
