Centre One Community

外掛說明

Centre One Community is a permanently useful free operations plugin for community centres, charities and other local organisations.

Centre One is an original software product created and owned by Paul Maddison. Its official website is centreone.co.uk.

It includes:

  • People records for Staff, Volunteers, Visitors and Young People
  • Visitor sign-in at Reception
  • Staff and Volunteer sign-in and sign-out
  • Live Attendance
  • A printable Fire Register
  • Visit Categories, Activities and Locations
  • A live Dashboard
  • Date-filtered attendance reports
  • CSV export

Community is a standalone plugin. It does not contain locked premium modules, licence checks, advertising, tracking or code that installs another plugin.

Centre One Pro is a separate commercial product distributed from centreone.co.uk. Community and Pro use compatible operational records so an organisation can move later without re-entering its people and attendance history.

Privacy

Centre One Community stores operational information in the site’s own WordPress database. Version 1.0.2 does not transmit personal or usage data to Centre One or any third party.

Site administrators are responsible for deciding what information they collect, establishing a lawful basis, publishing an appropriate privacy notice, controlling user access and applying their retention policy.

External services

Centre One Community 1.0.2 does not connect to any external service.

安裝方式

  1. Upload the centre-one-community folder to /wp-content/plugins/, or install the ZIP through Plugins > Add Plugin.
  2. Activate Centre One Community.
  3. Open Centre One > Settings and check your Site name, Reception heading, Categories, Activities and Locations.
  4. Add Staff and Volunteers under Centre One > People.
  5. Open Reception or Attendance.

常見問題集

Is this a time-limited trial?

No. Centre One Community is free and permanently usable.

Does it send data to Centre One or another external service?

No. Version 1.0.2 makes no external service requests and includes no telemetry.

Can I move to Centre One Pro later?

Yes. People, attendance, Categories, Activities, Locations and Site records use a compatible structure. Leave “delete data on uninstall” unticked, deactivate Community, then install and activate Pro.

What happens to records when the plugin is deactivated?

Nothing. Deactivation does not delete records.

What happens on uninstall?

Records are preserved by default for safety and for a future Pro move. An administrator can explicitly enable permanent deletion under Centre One > Settings before uninstalling.
