GMS Universal Posts lets you display public posts from another WordPress website on your WordPress site.
Enter the target WordPress website URL in the plugin settings, then use the shortcode [gmsup_posts] in Elementor’s Shortcode widget or in WordPress content.
The plugin uses the target site’s standard WordPress REST API. It does not require an account, API key, paid service, or connection to a GMS server.

External Service
This plugin connects to the WordPress website URL entered by the site administrator under Settings GMS Universal Posts.
It requests publicly available information from the target site’s standard WordPress REST API endpoints:
/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/wp-json/wp/v2/categories
Featured-image information is obtained through the REST API’s embedded media data.
The plugin does not send personal data to GMS or another third-party service. Temporary API responses may be stored as WordPress transients on the local WordPress installation.
The availability and terms of the target site’s REST API are controlled by the target site owner.

The target website must:
- Run WordPress.
- Expose its public REST API.
- Allow public access to the posts and categories endpoints.
Some sites may disable or restrict their REST API. Such sites cannot be used as a source by this plugin.
Privacy
GMS Universal Posts does not collect or transmit personal data to GMS.
The plugin connects to the configured target website and requests public post and category information. WordPress transients may temporarily cache the API response locally.

- Install and activate GMS Universal Posts.
- Go to Settings GMS Universal Posts.
- Enter the target WordPress website URL, for example
https://example.com. - Save the settings.
- Edit a page with Elementor.
- Add Elementor’s Shortcode widget.
- Enter

Can I use any website?

The source must be a WordPress website with accessible public REST API endpoints. A non-WordPress website cannot be used by this plugin unless it provides a compatible API endpoint, which this plugin does not currently support.

Does the target site need Elementor?

No. Elementor is only needed on the receiving site if you want to use Elementor’s Shortcode widget.

Does the target website need this plugin installed?

No. The target only needs to expose the standard WordPress REST API.

Does the plugin copy the posts?

No. It retrieves public post information and displays links back to the original posts. It does not import the posts into the local WordPress database.
