YokohamaLab SocialDock adds follow / friend-add buttons for LINE, X and Instagram to your WordPress site. It is built around LINE, which is widely used for customer contact in Japan, and shows the buttons both as a floating dock that follows the screen and as a shortcode you can place inside posts.
No coding is required. Everything is configured from the settings screen.
What makes it different from a generic social-buttons plugin:
- Built around the LINE friend-add flow, including an optional QR code shown on hover (desktop) so visitors can add you from a PC.
- An auto-collapsing dock: the buttons show their labels at first, then shrink to icon-only after a few seconds, and expand again on hover.
Key features:
- Floating dock (follows the screen) and shortcode
[yl_line_button]— use either or both. - Toggle each network (LINE / X / Instagram) on or off individually.
- Auto-collapse to icon-only after a configurable number of seconds; expands again on hover.
- LINE QR code: upload a QR image and it appears when a desktop visitor hovers over the LINE button.
- Choose position (bottom-right / bottom-left) and shape (round / rounded).
- Mobile-optimized: the floating dock automatically shows icons only on phones.
This plugin does not send any data to external servers. The URLs you enter are used only as links on your own site.

安裝方式
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin and upload the ZIP file.
- Activate the plugin.
- Go to Settings > SocialDock, enter each network’s URL, and check the networks you want to display.
- Save. The floating dock will appear on your site.
To place buttons inside a post or page, add the shortcode [yl_line_button] where you want them to appear.

Can I hide the floating dock and use it only inside posts?

Yes. Turn off the floating dock in the settings and use the

How does the LINE QR code work?

You can set the number of seconds in the settings. Set it to 0 to keep the dock expanded at all times.
