Drop the ‘wp-snow-effect’ folder into your ‘wp-content/plugins’ folder

Go to your Administration: Plugins page and activate the “WP snow effect” plugin

I remember this plugin from several years ago and went looking for it again in WordPress. Thankful I found it. I love it.

It’s that time of year where having a snow effect on a website is a nice addition and makes it feel festive. I have been through various plugins to test and found this to have a good range of options to have a unique effect on the site.
Between Flakes Number, Falling Speed, Flake Size, and the ability to Show on Specific Pages, this covers a good range of user options.
Additionally, rather than adding another top-level menu, it adds itself nicely to the “Settings” menu on the dashboard.
All around, highly recommend.

You see, it is difficult nowadays to get a White Christmas during Dec due to our climate changes.
Alternatively, I have my white Christmas virtually via this plugin.. 🙂

Love this snow plugin. Works great, looks wonderful, and it makes the sites so pretty every December and January. I am always sad to turn it off after the holidays and may not this year.

I think this is the 2nd year that I’ve used WP Snow Effect, and it’s pretty solid! I had used other “snow” plugins in previous years, but eventually learned that most did not deliver or look good on mobile.

After activating the plugin the menu in the mobile view can’t be clicked on & customers unable to checkout … even moving the Z index above the snow still does not work Zero stars
