**WhiteTip AI Chat** is a high-performance, lightweight, and modern artificial intelligence
assistant for WordPress and WooCommerce. Connect your website directly to leading
Large Language Model (LLM) providers — including **OpenAI (ChatGPT)**, **Google 
Gemini**, and **Anthropic Claude** — to deliver intelligent, real-time customer 
support and automated product recommendations to your site visitors.

Unlike generic chat widgets, WhiteTip AI Chat features built-in **RAG (Retrieval-
Augmented Generation)** capabilities that automatically index your WooCommerce products(
titles, descriptions, prices, stock levels, and permalinks), blog posts, and static
pages. The AI answers visitor queries accurately based on your actual site content
and generates interactive Markdown links to direct users to your products and pages.

### External Services

This plugin connects to third-party AI provider APIs to generate chat responses.
No data is sent unless the site administrator has explicitly configured an API key
for a provider and a visitor submits a message through the chat widget.

## 安裝方式

 1. Upload the `whitetip-ai-chat` directory to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory,
    or install the plugin directly through the WordPress plugins screen.
 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
 3. Navigate to the **WhiteTip AI Chat** menu item in your WordPress admin menu.
 4. Select your preferred **AI Provider** (OpenAI, Google Gemini, or Anthropic Claude)
    and enter your API Key.
 5. Click **Test API Connection** to verify your setup.
 6. (Optional) Go to **Tab 2: Context & RAG** and click **Sync / Index Context Now**
    to index your WooCommerce products and pages.
 7. Customize your chat launcher and widget colors in **Tab 3: Styling & Widget** and
    save settings.

### Do I need an API key to use WhiteTip AI Chat?

Yes. You can use your API key from OpenAI, Google AI Studio (Gemini), or Anthropic
Claude. Direct dashboard links are provided inside the plugin settings to help you
get your key in one click.

### Does WhiteTip AI Chat work with WooCommerce?

Yes! When WooCommerce is active, WhiteTip AI Chat can index your products (titles,
descriptions, prices, stock status, and permalinks) so the AI assistant can answer
pricing and availability questions and provide direct shopping links.

### Is visitor language detection automatic?

Yes. The default system prompt instructs the AI model to detect the language used
by the visitor in real-time and reply strictly in that language.

### Which languages are included in WhiteTip AI Chat?

WhiteTip AI Chat is fully translation-ready (i18n). All user-facing strings are 
properly localized and can be translated into any language via translate.wordpress.
org.

### Can I customize the appearance of the chat widget?

Absolutely. You can customize the launcher button size, launcher border radius (
circle, squircle, or square), icon size, chat window width, window border radius,
bot avatar image, primary accent color, background color, and message bubble colors.

### Does this plugin include external tracking or telemetry?

No. WhiteTip AI Chat does not collect or transmit tracking data or telemetry. All
requests are processed securely between your WordPress site and your chosen AI provider’s
official API endpoint.
