## 外掛說明

**Venuera is the complete [WooCommerce event ticketing plugin](https://venuera.com/)**—
sell event tickets, collect attendee details, design beautiful PDF tickets with
QR codes, and check guests in at the door, all from one dashboard. And because every
ticket is a real WooCommerce product, **you keep 100% of your revenue: 0% per-ticket
fees**, forever. The only cost on a sale is whatever your own payment gateway charges.

Most event ticketing platforms lock you into a proprietary checkout and skim a fee
off every ticket you sell. Venuera does the opposite. Your tickets use the WooCommerce
cart, taxes, coupons and payment gateways you already trust — so setup is fast,
payouts are yours, and nothing is held hostage behind a third-party system.

Whether you run concerts, workshops, conferences, club nights, fundraisers or community
meetups, Venuera gives you a full event ticketing system inside WordPress without
the monthly platform bill.

Venuera is built by the team behind Tickera, which has been powering WordPress event
ticketing since 2013. Venuera is the WooCommerce-first sister product: if you already
run a WooCommerce store, this is the ticketing plugin built for you.

#### Why event organizers choose Venuera

 * **0% per-ticket fees** — never pay a commission on a ticket again. You only ever
   pay your payment gateway.
 * **Built on WooCommerce** — keep your existing cart, checkout, taxes, coupons
and every payment gateway you already use.
 * **Sell tickets in minutes** — turn any event into sellable tickets with a dedicated
Events post type and WooCommerce ticket products.
 * **Look professional** — generate pixel-perfect PDF tickets with your branding,
   QR codes and barcodes.
 * **Own your data** — attendees, orders and check-ins live in your WordPress, exportable
   to CSV and PDF anytime.

#### Free WooCommerce event ticketing features

 * **Events** — a dedicated Events post type with status, start/end date & time,
timezone, venue and online-event handling, plus event categories.
 * **WooCommerce ticket products** — sell tickets as **simple** (“Event Ticket”)
or **variable** (“Variable Event Ticket”) products, so a single event can offer
Adult, VIP, early-bird, student and other price tiers, each with its own price
   and stock.
 * **Attendee details at checkout** — collect every ticket holder’s name, email
and phone, stored on the order and printed on the ticket.
 * **Visual Ticket Designer (included free)** — a drag-and-drop layout editor that
builds the ticket itself, not just a theme:
    - Pixel-perfect PDF tickets — the canvas maps 1:1 to the printed and downloaded
      PDF.
    - QR code tickets (selectable L/M/Q/H error correction) plus common 1D barcodes—
Code 128, Code 39, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC, ITF, ITF-14, MSI, Codabar and Pharmacode—
      generated on your own server.
    - Bundled fonts embedded directly in the PDF, so tickets look identical on screen
      and in print.
    - Dynamic fields — bind event, ticket and attendee data so every ticket renders
its own details and scannable code.
    - Ready-made ticket templates to start from, plus a full element toolbox (text,
images, shapes, lines, QR and barcode).
    - Optional AI ticket assistant — describe the ticket you want and it lays it
out on the canvas (uses an AI provider you connect in WordPress; see “External
services” below). This is entirely optional and stays off until you use it.
 * **Front-end event pages** — an events archive and single-event templates with
search, category and date filtering, ready to drop into any theme.
 * **Dashboard, reports & export** — sales and ticket overviews, CSV and PDF export,
and built-in door **check-in** with per-ticket entry tracking.

#### Works on its own — grows when you need it

Venuera is fully functional by itself for single-date events and ticketing. Optional
first-party add-ons extend it through clean hooks, and none of their code ships
inside this free plugin:

 * **[Recurring Events](https://venuera.com/add-ons/recurring-events/)** — recurrence
rules and a front-end date/time picker for repeating events.
 * **[Venue Designer](https://venuera.com/add-ons/venue-designer/)** — a visual
seat-map builder and live seat selection for reserved seating.
 * **[Point of Sale (POS)](https://venuera.com/add-ons/point-of-sale/)** — sell
tickets and products in person, straight from the browser.
 * **[Custom Attendee Fields](https://venuera.com/add-ons/custom-attendee-fields/)**—
build extra per-ticket questions beyond name, email and phone.
 * **[Check-in app](https://venuera.com/add-ons/check-in/)** — a fast, installable
scanner PWA for the door (camera, USB and Bluetooth readers).
 * **[AI Connect](https://venuera.com/add-ons/ai-connect/)** — turns your own site
into a remote MCP server, so you can ask Claude, ChatGPT, Hermes Agent, OpenClaw
or any other MCP-compatible agent about live sales, guest lists and seat availability
   in plain language.

Venuera requires WooCommerce.

#### Event types Venuera is built for

Concert and gig ticketing, conference registration, workshops and classes, club
and nightlife events, theatre and performances, festivals, fundraisers and charity
galas, sports and community events, and online events — anywhere you need to sell
event tickets on WordPress.

#### Frequently asked for

 * Sell event tickets on WordPress without per-ticket commission
 * WooCommerce ticket products with multiple price tiers
 * PDF tickets with QR codes for door scanning
 * Attendee registration data collected at checkout
 * Event check in and entry tracking from the WordPress dashboard
 * CSV and PDF attendee list export

### External services

This plugin connects to a few third-party services. Here is exactly what is sent,
when, and why:

 1. **Freemius** (licensing, updates & opt-in usage data) — Venuera uses the Freemius
SDK to manage licensing for the optional paid add-ons and to deliver update and
account information. On activation you are shown an opt-in screen; data such as
your site URL, WordPress/PHP versions and admin email is only sent **after you
explicitly opt in**, and you may skip it. Provided by Freemius, Inc. Terms: https://
    freemius.com/terms/ — Privacy: https://freemius.com/privacy/
 2. **AI provider (optional — only if you use the AI ticket assistant)** — when you
click “Generate” in the AI ticket assistant, the text prompt you type is sent through
the WordPress AI Client to the AI provider you have configured in WordPress, and
the generated layout is returned. No request is ever sent unless you actively use
this feature. The provider, endpoint, terms and privacy policy depend on the AI
service you connect in your own WordPress settings.

No data is sent to any external service during normal ticket selling, designing
or check-in beyond what you explicitly trigger as described above.

## 常見問題集

### Does Venuera require WooCommerce?

Yes. Tickets are real WooCommerce products, so Venuera uses WooCommerce for the
cart, checkout, taxes and payment gateways. The plugin will prompt you if WooCommerce
is missing.

### Does Venuera charge a fee per ticket?

No. Venuera never takes a per-ticket commission. The only fee on a sale is whatever
your chosen payment gateway charges, so you keep the rest.

### Can I sell different ticket types for one event?

Yes. Add an **Event Ticket** product for a single ticket type, or a **Variable Event
Ticket** product to offer several tiers (for example Adult, VIP, early-bird, student),
each with its own price and stock. These are dedicated Venuera product types you
pick from the WooCommerce “Product data” type dropdown — not the built-in Simple/
Variable products.

### Can I customise how the ticket looks?

Yes. The built-in Ticket Designer is a drag-and-drop editor that produces a pixel-
perfect PDF with your layout, fonts, dynamic data, QR code and barcodes — no design
tools or developers needed.

### Do my tickets include QR codes?

Yes. Every ticket can carry a scannable QR code (with selectable error correction)
and a range of 1D barcodes, all generated on your own server and embedded in the
PDF.

### Do I have to use the AI ticket assistant?

No. It is completely optional. Nothing is sent to any AI service unless you choose
to use it, and it first requires you to connect an AI provider in WordPress.

### Can I check attendees in at the door?

Yes. The free plugin includes manual check-in with per-ticket entry tracking from
the Tickets screen. For a dedicated, installable scanner app (camera / hardware
readers), see the optional [Check-in add-on](https://venuera.com/add-ons/check-in/).

### Does Venuera support reserved seating, recurring events or in-person sales?

The free plugin covers single-date events and general-admission ticketing. Reserved
seating ([Venue Designer](https://venuera.com/add-ons/venue-designer/)), repeating
events ([Recurring Events](https://venuera.com/add-ons/recurring-events/)) and on-
site selling ([Point of Sale](https://venuera.com/add-ons/point-of-sale/)) are available
as optional first-party add-ons that plug straight in.

### Is Venuera translation-ready?

Yes. All strings use the `venuera` text domain and a `.pot` template ships in the`
languages` folder.

### Can I ask Claude or ChatGPT about my ticket sales?

Yes, with the optional [AI Connect add-on](https://venuera.com/add-ons/ai-connect/).
It turns your own WordPress site into a remote MCP server, so you can connect Claude,
ChatGPT, Hermes Agent, OpenClaw or any other MCP-compatible agent and ask about
live sales, revenue, guest lists, check-in counts and seat availability in plain
language. Every connection signs in as a real WordPress user over OAuth, the agent
only gets tools that user already has permission for, and AI-created events are
always saved as drafts for a human to review. None of this code ships in the free
plugin, and nothing leaves your site unless you install the add-on and connect an
agent yourself.

I’ve spent around the event industry a good number of years… decades even. And sadly,
event ticketing systems are often made by the people who don’t have any idea how
things work out there. This one is different. This was obviously made by folks who
spent some time and witnessed first hand how things work and adjusted their approach
to match the needs. So, instead of constantly babysitting event ticketing system(
which is, sadly, often the case), this actually takes a lot of weight from your
shoulders. Easy to set up, easy to use, intuitive, covers basically any scenario
you can think of without having to dive deep. This would be impressive for mature
product let alone product this young. Kudos!

## 變更記錄

#### 1.1.1

 * New: each ticket type of a variable ticket product can now run its own sale schedule.
Tick “Override the sale schedule for this ticket type” on a variation and give
it its own start and end dates, so an early bird type closes on its own date
while the general type keeps selling from the same product. Left unticked, the
ticket type follows the parent product’s schedule as before.
 * New: the variation editor shows the parent product’s sale schedule next to the
override, and warns when an overriding ticket type is set to keep selling past
   the parent’s sale end date.
 * New: on the event page, a ticket type that is outside its sale window now shows“
On sale from [date]” or “Sales ended” in place of the add-to-cart button, instead
of offering a button that the cart would only reject afterwards.
 * Fix: sale start and end dates were compared in a format that made them take effect
a day late. A sale set to open at 10:00 on a given day stayed closed for the
rest of that day, and a sale set to end kept selling for an extra day. Existing
dates are corrected automatically; no re-saving is needed.
 * Fix: adding a ticket to the cart checked the sale window of the parent ticket
product even when a specific ticket type was chosen, so a ticket type with its
own schedule was not enforced at checkout.
 * Fix: the Ticket Designer list showed “Not assigned” under every template even
when templates were correctly assigned to ticket products. The card counted event-
level assignments, which are no longer written since templates are picked on
the ticket product (and per variation); it now counts the ticket types actually
   using each template.
 * Fix: switching a ticket product or variation from one template to another could
leave the previous assignment in place, so the ticket kept printing with the
old design. The old assignment is now cleared when a new template is picked.
 * Fix: setting a ticket product back to “Default Template”, or a variation back
to “Inherit from parent”, left the previous assignment behind and tickets kept
using the deselected template. Clearing the selection now really falls back to
the default (or to the parent product).
 * Fix: PDF and HTML tickets printed the event date and time shifted by the site’s
UTC offset instead of showing the event’s own timezone. An event set to start
at 12:00 with its timezone set to Cairo could print as 3:00 pm on the ticket
while the event page correctly showed 12:00, and late-evening events could print
the following day’s date. Ticket output now renders start times in the timezone
saved on the event, matching the event page, and the Ticket Designer preview
no longer shows a shifted sample time.

#### 1.1.0

 * Fix: two checkouts hitting the same recurring-event occurrence at the same moment
could create duplicate occurrence rows. The occurrences table now enforces a
UNIQUE key per event and start time; the database update merges any existing
duplicates and repoints their tickets automatically.
 * Fix: the personal-data (GDPR) exporter and eraser now also cover attendee details
stored on WooCommerce order items, so export and erasure requests made for an
attendee’s email address return and anonymize the data actually collected at
checkout — including when the attendee’s email differs from the buyer’s.
 * Fix: seat/zone order-item meta written without the `_venuera_` prefix by older
Venue Designer versions is migrated to the prefixed keys used by current code.

#### 1.0.3

 * Fix: PDF tickets are no longer attached to the “order on-hold” email. Tickets
were being emailed for orders still awaiting payment (e.g. bank transfer), using
placeholder ticket data since real tickets are only issued once the order is
paid. The PDF attachment now ships with the processing/completed email, honouring
the “Issue tickets on” setting, in agreement with the ticket section in the email
   body.

#### 1.0.2

 * Report PDF: the internal TCPDF table styling now uses inline style attributes
   instead of a `<style>` block.
 * Minor code hardening for WordPress.org guideline compliance.

#### 1.0.1

 * Removed all ini_set(‘display_errors’) calls; PDF and CSV download streams are
now kept clean via output buffering.
 * Updated bundled TCPDF library to the latest stable release.
 * Minor code hardening for WordPress.org guideline compliance.

#### 1.0.0

 * Initial release: events, WooCommerce ticket products (simple & variable), attendee
details at checkout, the visual Ticket Designer with pixel-perfect PDF / QR /
barcodes, front-end event pages, dashboard reports, CSV/PDF export and door check-
   in.
