I've been looking for a solution to resizing woocommerce thumbnails after regeneration didn't size them correctly for boxes. I previously had used uncropped thumbnail dimensions with custom CSS set with max-height and % values to get images to fit (some images looked terribly squashed). I tested out the Smart Image Resize today. It worked amazingly and resized all existing pictures to 1:1 ratios at set width and height! Totally worth PRO!! I use it across all of the store sites I manage now and am excited for using it in new site projects soon and playing with the white trim feature. I would 100% buy again in a second.

I've searched for a plugin like this for a long time. It works perfectly and does what it promise so I'm thinking to buy the pro version.

First of all, one thing the documentation doesn't say - go to Apperance/customise and reset your woocommerce image settings to UNCROPPED, otherwise it won't work. However, once that is done, it is really easy to use and works perfectly. I honestly can't believe Wooc hasn't bought and integrated this yet - it shouldn't be left to theme developers to fix images, that should be part of wooc core functionality. But I digress... I had a website with over 900 images to be resized so bought the pro version. Worth every penny, and is future proof - so the client can upload any size/ratio picture and the plugin will do its thing. So I don't have to teach my client how to manually crop their pictures. I am over the moon - I don't normally leave plugin reviews (unless I hate it), but had to commend this wonderful plugin. Will be using for every woocommerce website. Thanks, Nabil!! 🙂

I was searching for weeks trying to find a way to fix all of my different sized product photos causing the woocommerce shop page to look disorganized and cheap without using the horrible auto cropping built into woocommerce which just cuts part of the image off. This was exactly what I needed and now my shop page looks professional and nothing is cut off!
