Publishing a page does not mean search engines will find it soon. New posts, updated articles and WooCommerce products can wait days or weeks for a crawl. Rapid Indexer sends those URLs to search engines as soon as you publish or update them, then shows you the result in wp-admin. #### Choose engines for publish and for update Pick engines separately for “On publish” and “On update”: * **Google indexing** – submit URLs to Google through your Rapid Indexer account. Turn on the VIP queue for priority Google submissions. * **Bing indexing** – submit URLs to Bing. * **Brave Search Boost** – send URLs to Brave Search, with optional keywords. It can use your Yoast SEO or Rank Math focus keyphrase. * **IndexNow** – notify participating IndexNow search engines directly from your site. It is free and does not use Rapid Indexer credits. Every option is off until you turn it on, so nothing spends credits by surprise. #### Index and check URLs from wp-admin * **Index** and **Check index** links on every published post, page and product. * Bulk actions to submit or check many posts at once. * Paste up to 200 URLs, including URLs on other sites, and submit them for indexing or an index check. * A task list with the status of each submission, and per-post status in the editor. * Works with posts, pages, WooCommerce products and other public post types. #### Built for SEO workflows Use it for new blog posts, refreshed content, product launches, programmatic pages, or anything else you want crawled soon. It is the WordPress version of the [Rapid Indexer Make.com integration](https://rapid-indexer.com/make-integration), and uses the public [Rapid Indexer API](https://rapid-indexer.com/api-docs). #### Requirements * A Rapid Indexer account and API key for Google, Bing and Brave. Create one at [rapid-indexer.com](https://rapid-indexer.com). * IndexNow works without an API key. Rapid Indexer submits URLs for crawling. Search engines decide whether and when to index a page. Nothing is sent until you save an API key or turn an engine on. ### External services This plugin connects to two services. #### Rapid Indexer When you submit or check URLs, the plugin sends those URLs, the engines you selected, an optional title, Brave keywords, and your API key to `https://rapid-indexer.com/ api/v1/index.php`. WordPress also includes this site address in the request User- Agent. It is used only when an administrator enables IndexNow and then publishes, updates, or submits a URL. It sends the public URL, this site’s host, and this site’s IndexNow key to `https:// api.indexnow.org/indexnow`. The key file is public at `https://your-site.example/{ key}.txt` and contains only that key. It does not send the Rapid Indexer API key, post content, account data, or visitor data. IndexNow does not use Rapid Indexer credits. This service is provided by IndexNow.org. Upload the plugin folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`, or install the zip from the Plugins screen. 2. Activate Rapid Indexer. 3. Open Rapid Indexer in the admin menu and save your API key. 4. Choose which engines run on publish and on update. 5. If you enable IndexNow, use “Check IndexNow key file” to confirm the key file is public. ## 常見問題集 ### Where do I get an API key? Log in at https://rapid-indexer.com, click your email in the header, then click API Access. ### Does publishing a post spend credits? Only if you tick Google, Bing, or Brave for “On publish” or “On update”. Those actions use your Rapid Indexer credits. IndexNow is free. All of these options are off until you turn them on. ### Does this guarantee that Google will index the page? No. Rapid Indexer submits the URL for crawling. The search engine decides whether to index it. ### Which URLs can IndexNow submit? Only public URLs on this WordPress site. Pasted URLs on other domains are skipped for IndexNow. ### What is the difference between Rapid Indexer and IndexNow? IndexNow is a free protocol supported by Bing and other participating search engines. Google does not use IndexNow. Rapid Indexer submits URLs to Google, Bing and Brave through your Rapid Indexer account. You can turn on either or both. ### Does it work with WooCommerce? Yes. Products appear in the post type list. Tick them to submit products when they are published or updated. ### Does it work with Yoast SEO and Rank Math? Yes. For Brave Search Boost, you can use the focus keyphrase from Yoast SEO or Rank Math as the keyword for each URL. ### Can I check whether a page is indexed? Yes. Use “Check index” on a post, the bulk action, or the Submit URLs screen with the index check option. Results appear on the Tasks screen. ### Will it slow down my site? No. It adds no scripts or styles to your pages. The only public addition is the small IndexNow key file, when IndexNow is on.
