## 外掛說明

Postdom makes short-form videos and slideshows about your business and posts them
to your social accounts when you approve them. This plugin connects your WordPress
site to your Postdom workspace, so Postdom writes about what you actually publish
and sell.

Once connected, the plugin:

 * sends your published posts, pages and WooCommerce products to Postdom, so they
   become facts and topics in your workspace’s Brand Brain;
 * keeps them in sync when you publish, update or remove something;
 * lets Postdom use your WooCommerce product photos in the slideshows and videos
   it makes for your store;
 * shows your connection, an “Open Postdom” button and the newest posts waiting 
   for your review, under Settings  Postdom.

Everything else (reviewing, scheduling, connecting TikTok, Instagram and other accounts,
and your plan) happens in Postdom at app.postdom.com.

#### This plugin needs a Postdom account

Postdom is an external service run by Postdom (https://postdom.com). You need a 
Postdom workspace to use this plugin. Postdom has a free plan; paid plans are billed
by Postdom on postdom.com, never inside WordPress. Every feature of this plugin 
works on every Postdom plan.

#### What is sent to Postdom, and when

Nothing is sent until an administrator agrees on the plugin’s page (Settings  Postdom)
and connects the site with a one-time code from Postdom.

After that, the plugin sends to Postdom’s API (https://api.postdom.com):

 * your site’s name, tagline, address, language and time zone (and shop currency
   if WooCommerce is active);
 * your published posts and pages: title, link, excerpt, up to 4,000 characters 
   of text, categories and tags;
 * if WooCommerce is active, your published products: name, link, short description,
   price, categories, tags and up to 4 image links. Postdom downloads those images
   to use them in your posts.

It is sent once when you connect, then each time you publish, update or remove a
post, page or product. The plugin also asks Postdom for your connection’s status
and your newest posts waiting for review, when you open its page; their thumbnails
load from Postdom’s media storage.

Nothing about your visitors, customers, orders or users is ever read or sent. Unpublished,
private and password-protected content is never sent. The plugin adds nothing to
your site’s front end: no scripts, no tracking, no “Powered by” link.

Disconnecting (or deleting the plugin) tells Postdom to remove what the site sent,
and removes the plugin’s settings from your site.

## 安裝方式

 1. Install and activate the plugin.
 2. Go to Settings  Postdom, read what is sent, and agree.
 3. In Postdom (app.postdom.com), go to Settings, then Agents, then WordPress, and 
    press “Make a connect code”.
 4. Paste the code on the plugin’s page and press Connect. Your content is sent in 
    the background.

## 常見問題集

### Does the plugin post to my social accounts?

No. Postdom makes posts and you review them in Postdom. Your social accounts are
connected in Postdom, not in WordPress.

### Do I need WooCommerce?

No. Without WooCommerce, the plugin sends your posts and pages. With it, it also
sends your products and their photos.

### How do I stop sending content?

Press Disconnect on Settings  Postdom. Postdom stops receiving anything and removes
what the site sent. You can also delete the plugin.

### Can I point the plugin at a different Postdom server?

Yes, for testing: define `POSTDOM_API_URL` in wp-config.php.
