## 外掛說明

PingBlink is an all-in-one engagement widget that sits gracefully on the corner 
of your website. Instead of forcing users to navigate to separate pages for support,
news, or promotions, PingBlink brings everything directly to them in a sleek, modern
interface.

PingBlink is built using native WordPress custom post types, meaning it is **100%
compatible with the Gutenberg block editor**. You can build beautiful help articles
and rich-text announcements using the editor you already know and love.

Major Features:
 * **Knowledge Base (Help):** Create and organize help articles.
Users can search for answers instantly, reducing your support load. Includes built-
in helpfulness voting (Thumbs Up / Thumbs Down) with analytics. * **Announcements(
News):** Publish updates, new features, or company news. Users see a pulsing notification
badge when new items are available, driving engagement. * **Promotions (Offers):**
Run special promotions or discounts with dedicated cards to increase conversions.***
Fallback Contact Form:** If users can’t find what they need, they can easily send
a message directly from the widget. * **Built-in Analytics:** Track independent 
views, clicks, and Click-Through Rates (CTR) separately for News and Offers, alongside
simple helpfulness voting analytics for your Knowledge Base directly inside your
WordPress dashboard. * **Smart Visibility Rules:** Control exactly who sees your
News and Offers by restricting visibility to logged-in users, logged-out users, 
or everyone. * **Customization:** Choose your primary brand color, select from multiple
trigger icons (Chat Bubble, Notification Bell, Megaphone, Sparkle), and position
the widget on the bottom-left or bottom-right. * **Zero Bloat:** Lightweight JavaScript
and CSS ensure your site speed remains lightning-fast.

### Use Cases

 * **Customer Support:** Reduce support tickets by allowing customers to instantly
   search your knowledge base from anywhere on the site. If they can’t find the 
   answer, the fallback contact form ensures you never lose an inquiry.
 * **SaaS & Software Updates:** Announce new features, bug fixes, or maintenance
   schedules in the News tab. Use the **Logged-in Users** visibility rule to display
   specific updates only to active users, while the unread notification badge ensures
   they actually see them.
 * **E-Commerce Sales:** Use the Offers tab to promote seasonal discounts or flash
   sales. You can leverage the **Logged-in Users** visibility rule to show exclusive
   discount codes to returning customers, the **Logged-out Users** rule to show 
   a “Free Shipping” welcome offer to guests, and the **All Visitors** rule for 
   general store-wide sales.

## 安裝方式

 1. Upload the `pingblink` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory, or install
    the ZIP file via the WordPress Plugins menu.
 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
 3. Navigate to **PingBlink -> Settings** to customize your widget’s appearance, enabled
    tabs, and support email.
 4. Start creating Help Articles, News, and Offers from the PingBlink menu!

### Does PingBlink slow down my website?

No. PingBlink is highly optimized with lightweight assets.

### Can I hide certain tabs?

Yes! You can toggle the Help, News, and Offers tabs on or off from the PingBlink
Settings page.

### Where do the contact form messages go?

By default, they are sent to your WordPress site’s administrative email address.
You can override this with a custom Support Email Address in the settings.

### Can I restrict who sees the News and Offers?

Yes, you can set visibility rules on individual News and Offer posts to show them
to “All Visitors”, “Logged-in Users”, or “Logged-out Users”.
