- Install the Melu plugin directly from the plugins admin section of your WordPress site, or upload the ZIP via Plugins Add New Upload Plugin.
- Activate the plugin.
- Visit the Melu Live Chat menu item in the left admin navigation.
- Enter your unique product key and click Apply Product Key.
- The Melu live chat widget is now active on all pages of your website.

Is the plugin secure?

Yes. The settings form uses WordPress nonces to prevent CSRF, all input is sanitised, and output is escaped. The plugin stores only a product key and display preferences — no database tables, no user data.

Can I hide the widget on certain pages?

Yes. Go to the Display Settings section on the Melu Live Chat settings page. You can untick specific post types, or use the searchable Exclude Pages & Posts list to hide the widget on individual pages. You can also use the master toggle to disable the widget everywhere without removing your product key.
