With MailChimp for WooCommerce, you’ll have the power to:

  • Track and segment customers based on purchase history and purchase frequency.
  • View detailed data on your marketing performance in your MailChimp Dashboard.
  • Find new customers, connect with current ones, and drive them all to your website with Facebook and Instagram ads. Then, set up Google remarketing ads to turn your site visitors into shoppers.
  • Automatically embed a pop-up form that converts your website visitors to subscribers.
  • Add discount codes created in WooCommerce to your emails and automations with a Promo Code content block
  • Create beautiful landing pages that make it easy to highlight your products, promote a sale or giveaway, and grow your list.

Important Notes

This plugin supports our most powerful API 3.0 features, and is intended for users who have not yet integrated their WooCommerce stores with MailChimp.

You can run this new integration at the same time as your current WooCommerce integration for MailChimp. However, data from the older integration will display separately in subscriber profiles, and can’t be used with e-commerce features that require API 3.0.

WordPress.com compatibility is limited to Business tier users only.

At this time, the synchronization of product categories from WooCommerce to MailChimp is not supported.

Endless syncing

I desperately want this plugin, but it’s not working. It’s stuck in an endless sync. I cannot rate this better. I would give it lower score if I could.

Mailchimp is not listening, they care about $

I’m pissed of this mailchimp is the most useless thing, back in time it was great, but after so many years they stopped working on improvments, probably because they are already getting enough $$.

That’s why I’m really thinking on moving on activecampaign, as this is absurd. It’s time to listen to people, not only revenue.

As someone reviewed, said – it’s useless. :

As a listed MailChimp Expert on your directory, I’m well aware what your e-commerce functionality is used for.

I’m also well aware that the feedback given is rarely incorporated as I have been with MailChimp for more than 4 years and none of my suggestions have been taken, despite being basic functionality for most other email marketing platforms.

Must-have for business and great support

If you use WooCommerce and Mailchimp, and you do sell online… this plugin is a MUST.
It works as advertised, we’ve been syncing hundreds of orders so far and hardly get any glitch.
When that happened, it was because of the hosting and the plugin support reacted within 24h.

Mailchimp isn’t perfect, but the ability to sync the ecommerce data definitely set it apart from other competitors!

EXCELLENT ADDITION TO WOOCOMMERCE

I’ve added this plugin to a clients ecommerce site. They have over 480 products with thousands of variations and around 3000 customers. Although the features sounded good I was initially a little reluctant to use this plugin after I’d read more than normal negative reviews … I installed it once and the syncing between the website and mailchimp started to use high resources so I quickly disabled it and decided to read the INSTRUCTIONS.

1. The first thing I did was TEST to make sure we had the capabilities to run the plugin with the recommended php version etc.

2. The second thing I noticed was that it was important to disable any caching plugins, which I wisely did.

3. The third thing I decided was to do the syncing between mailchimp and woocommerce overnight so it created as few problems as possible for customers to continue to use the website and make purchases.

Syncing did take about 10 hours but I am THOROUGHLY DELIGHTED with the results. The reporting in mailchimp is excellent and it’s the best way to monitor the effectiveness of campaigns.

Thank you to the developers. I appreciate you all.

It’s pretty worthless

You can’t do anything with it, and it adds no benefit whatsoever except syncing your e-comm data to your list….which is easily achieved with other plugins that actually have real functionality.

Need a little help

Hi!

I’m getting this error message: “MailChimp says: Please upgrade your PHP version to a minimum of 7.0”

However, PHP is set to 7.2 in my host … and I used the DISPLAY PHP VERSION plugin in my WP website and it also displays 7.2 … is there anything I can do to help Mailchimp plugin understants that we are running the 7.2 version? (I cleared the website cache already).

Thanks a lot!
