The shortcode uses the ticket master [Discovery API](https://developer.ticketmaster.com/products-and-docs/apis/discovery-api/v2/) to search for events, their timings, venue and ticket price details. Event are displayed with the [ank_wp_ticket_get_event_shortcode] shortcode: ``` [ank_wp_get_events genre="music" event_count="12" dmaid="324" title="Events in LA"] ``` Ticketmaster requires an API key to access discovery API to fetch event details. You can [register for an API here](https://developer-acct.ticketmaster.com/user/register). The “Debug Mode” on “Ticket Master Settings” page is used for enabling logging of plugin. Upload the plugin files to the `/wp-content/plugins/plugin-name` directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress 3. Obtain an API key [here](https://developer-acct.ticketmaster.com/user/register) 4. Use “Ticket Master Settings” on admin screen to configure the plugin 5. Enter your ticketmaster consumer key details in “Consumer Key” field of plugin’s setting page 6. Enter “https://app.ticketmaster.com/” as API URL in “Api URL” field of plugin’s setting page ## 常見問題集 ### What is dmaid ? DMA stands for Designated Market Areas. Ticket master identifies areas using dmaids. Designated Market Area (DMA) can be used to segment and target events to a specific audience. Each DMA groups several zipcodes into a specific market segmentation based on population demographics.
