Hit Counter Max is a simple wordpress plugin that embeds a rotating counter in your blog and shows the number of visits your website has.
By default the web counter will be displayed in your footer, to change the location of the counter simply navigate to your widgets page and embed it anywhere you want in your blog.
You can also change the hit counter style so it can fit with the design of your blog. Navigate to -> Settings -> Bliss Hit Counter and select your preffered style.
Plugin Settings
- Count unique visitors – checkbox
- Exclude ip dddresses – one per line
- Display in footer – checkbox
- Counter Alignment – left,center,right
- Set hit counter to – a specified number
- Credits – enable or disable
- Check for updates automatically – enable or disable

安裝方式
This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.
- Unzip the downloaded archive
- Extract hit-counter-max.zip and upload the folder hit-counter-max to /wp-content/plugins/ directory
- Activate the plugin from Plugins > Hit Counter Max > Activate, under WordPress admin interface
- In the Appearance > Widgets menu, drag to your sidebar the Hit Counter Max Plugin.
- Change settings or manage the plugin from Settings > Hit Counter Max.

I was looking for a simple plugin and this very straight forward and just what I need. It has a lot different types of hit counters with all doing the basic task counting hits.
The only thing I might suggest is to count hits per site and not hits per page. For example as I navigate through my page I expect to get one hit but instead I get 10 because I navigated through 10 pages during my visit to the site. I use the setting Unique hits which I believe keeps track of unique hits by IP but it doesn't necessarily track domain site visits.
Overall it does what it saids.

somehow got broken when my site got ransacked recently and images got removed. So i have to re-up it.Not sure how this affected the plugin if the uploads section got ransacked, tho.

I used this plugin this is one of the best plugin for simple displaying visitor. I love that so many style to display it. Its also lightweight plugins.

It's simple and it works. You can choose a number to start at also. There could be a couple extra features but I don't think the author has any plans.
