Conversations are handled in the EnvisaSoft Inbox, where your team can reply to visitors. #### Visitors On public pages, visitors get a chat bubble and are asked for their name and email before starting a conversation. If your team is offline, visitors can still leave a message and be contacted later. #### Your team New conversations enter a waiting state. An agent accepts the conversation, and the visitor is notified when the agent joins. Agents reply from the EnvisaSoft Inbox using their configured display name. #### How it works 1. Install and activate the plugin. 2. Go to Settings Live Chat. 3. Click Connect EnvisaSoft. 4. Sign in or create an EnvisaSoft account. 5. Select an existing website or create a new one. 6. The chat widget appears on your public WordPress pages. 7. Open the EnvisaSoft Inbox to receive and reply to visitor messages. #### Account An EnvisaSoft account is required because the EnvisaSoft Inbox, website connection, chat management, and trial are provided by EnvisaSoft. The WordPress plugin is the connector between your WordPress website and the EnvisaSoft service. #### Trial Start with a 14-day free trial. No card is entered in WordPress when connecting the plugin. #### Pricing After the trial, pricing is $4.99 USD/month per active website. Examples: * 1 active website = $4.99/month * 2 active websites = $9.98/month * 3 active websites = $14.97/month Agents and visitors are not billed. #### Multiple websites You can connect multiple websites. (EnvisaSoft). It is not affiliated with or endorsed by WordPress.org. ### Configuration Connect EnvisaSoft is the primary setup. Existing installations that already saved a Site ID continue to work and are shown as connected manually. Disconnect removes the local connection and turns the widget off. It does not delete the website in EnvisaSoft. You can connect again later. Widget appearance settings in WordPress are a starting point. Appearance saved in your EnvisaSoft dashboard continues to apply. ### External Service This plugin connects to the EnvisaSoft Live Chat service at: [https://chat.envisasoft.com](https://chat.envisasoft.com) The service provides account connection (Connect EnvisaSoft), visitor sessions, conversations, message delivery, and live-chat functionality. The plugin loads this external script because the chat product is the EnvisaSoft service, not a chat engine inside WordPress: ``` https://chat.envisasoft.com/widget.js ``` Connect EnvisaSoft uses a secure authorization flow (OAuth with PKCE). WordPress sends this site’s public website address and the admin callback URL so EnvisaSoft can authorize the correct website. EnvisaSoft passwords are not stored in WordPress. No client secret is included in the plugin. When the widget is active, visitor interaction with the chat may transmit information to EnvisaSoft, including chat messages and information necessary to maintain the visitor’s chat session and conversation. When an administrator uses Connect EnvisaSoft, EnvisaSoft may process: * The public WordPress website address * The WordPress admin callback URL used to return to Settings Live Chat * The EnvisaSoft account used to authorize the website * The selected or created EnvisaSoft website name When a visitor uses the chat widget, EnvisaSoft may process: * Visitor name, if the visitor provides one * Visitor email, if the visitor provides one * Chat messages * Conversation identifiers needed to continue the thread * Current page URL and page title, when the widget sends them * Technical information required for the chat connection (including a visitor session token stored in the visitor’s browser) The plugin itself does not send analytics, telemetry, or unused tracking requests. The chat UI, visitor sessions, and message delivery are provided by EnvisaSoft. WordPress only loads `widget.js`. ### I cannot sign in during Connect EnvisaSoft Use your EnvisaSoft email and password at [https://chat.envisasoft.com/login](https://chat.envisasoft.com/login). If the account is inactive, ask the EnvisaSoft account owner. ### My website is not in the list The WordPress address must match the EnvisaSoft website, including www vs non-www. Create the website during Connect EnvisaSoft if you are allowed to, or ask the EnvisaSoft account owner to add you to that website. ### I see a domain mismatch You can only connect this WordPress site to an EnvisaSoft website for the same domain. You cannot connect it to a different company’s website. ### Connection expired Start Connect EnvisaSoft again. Authorization requests expire after a few minutes. ### Why is the bubble missing? Confirm the plugin is active, Settings Live Chat shows Connected, you are viewing a public page rather than wp-admin, and any page cache was cleared after connecting. ### The bubble appears but chat cannot connect This WordPress origin may not be in the site’s allowed origins in EnvisaSoft. Reconnect, or ask the EnvisaSoft account owner to add `https://your-domain.com` and `https:// www.your-domain.com`. ### What does Disconnect do? It turns chat off on this WordPress site and forgets the local connection. It does not delete the EnvisaSoft website. You can connect again. ### Does it work on WordPress multisite? Activate and configure the plugin on each site that should show chat. Connect EnvisaSoft separately on each site. ### Where can I get support? Email info@envisasoft.com.
