This plugin provides an option to disable notification emails send to the admin for both new user and changed/lost passwords.

Upload the disable-email-notifications folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
Configure which notifications you want disabled in the Settings menu.
