## 外掛說明

CodeFaeries Ask AI About Us shows your visitors you have nothing to hide: a row 
of “Ask ChatGPT about us”, “Ask Grok about us” and “Ask Claude about us” buttons
after the footer of every page. A click opens the assistant in a new tab, in the
visitor’s own account, with a question about your whole site already written: its
name, its address, whether it is a reliable company and what its customers say.

No API key, no running cost: the plugin only prints links. Nothing about the visitor
goes through your server.

**Features:**

 * Buttons for ChatGPT, Grok and Claude, shown as soon as the plugin is activated
 * Gemini available as an option: it opens an empty conversation, since it does 
   not accept a prefilled question
 * Choose the assistants shown under Settings > Ask AI
 * The question and the button labels follow your site’s language, and the plugin
   is translation-ready
 * Accessible buttons: reachable with the keyboard, announced with their destination
   and the new tab they open
 * Works with any theme and wraps on narrow screens
 * Same output on every page, so it works with page caching
 * Loads nothing from a third-party server: no font, icon or script
 * Uninstalling the plugin deletes its settings

### External services

This plugin links to third-party AI assistants. It does not contact them from your
server and sends them nothing on its own: each button is a plain link.

When, and only when, a visitor clicks a button, their own browser opens that assistant’s
website in a new tab. For the assistants that accept a prefilled question, the link
carries that question, which contains your site’s name and home page address. The
assistant then receives what any visit to its website sends, under its own terms
and privacy policy, and the visitor uses it with their own account if they have 
one.

### Privacy

The plugin sets no cookie, stores nothing about visitors and makes no request of
its own. It stores a single setting, the list of assistants shown.

## 安裝方式

 1. Upload the plugin files to the `/wp-content/plugins/codefaeries-ask-ai` directory,
    or install the plugin from the WordPress Plugins screen.
 2. Activate the plugin from the Plugins screen. The buttons appear after the footer
    right away.
 3. Optionally, choose the assistants shown under Settings > Ask AI.

## 常見問題集

### Does the plugin use an AI API or need a key?

No. Each button is a link to the assistant’s own website: the visitor asks the question
there, with their own account.

### What question is sent?

For a site named Example Shop at https://example.com/: “What do you know about Example
Shop (https://example.com/)? Is it a reliable company, and what do its customers
say?”, translated into your site’s language when a translation is available. The
question is about your whole site, whatever page the visitor is on.

### Why does Gemini open an empty conversation?

Gemini does not accept a question in the link, so its button opens a new conversation
where the visitor types the question. That is why it is hidden by default.

### Can I place the buttons somewhere else?

Not in this plugin: the row is printed after the theme footer. Developers can turn
that automatic output off with the `codefaeries_ask_ai_footer_enabled` filter.

 * Fixed: a second copy of the plugin loaded on the same site, such as one bundled

   runs, the other stays inactive.
 * New: developers can put an icon before, after or instead of each button label
   with the `codefaeries_ask_ai_button_content` filter. Only span, img and svg markup
   is kept, and an image given as a data: URI is removed: use an image URL or an
