## 外掛說明

BarbaChatBot is a lightweight WordPress plugin that adds an AI-powered chat widget
to your website. It connects your site to the BarbaChatBot service (https://chatbot.
barbasolution.com), where all AI processing and conversation management takes place.

**How it works:**

 1. Create a free account at [chatbot.barbasolution.com](https://chatbot.barbasolution.com)
 2. Generate an API key from your dashboard
 3. Install and activate this plugin
 4. Enter your API key in the plugin settings
 5. The AI chat widget appears on your site — ready to help your visitors

**External Service Notice:**

This plugin connects to the BarbaChatBot API service at https://chatbot.barbasolution.
com to process chat messages. When a visitor sends a message through the chat widget,
the message content, visitor’s name, email, and IP address are transmitted to this
service for AI processing and to provide support.

## 安裝方式

 1. Create an account at [chatbot.barbasolution.com](https://chatbot.barbasolution.com)
    and verify your email.
 2. Log in and generate an API key from the API Keys page.
 3. In WordPress, go to Plugins > Add New and search for “BarbaChatBot”.
 4. Install and activate the plugin.
 5. Navigate to Settings > BarbaChatBot.
 6. Enter your API key (the API URL is pre-filled).
 7. Save settings. The chat widget will appear on your site.

### Do I need an account to use this plugin?

Yes. Register at [chatbot.barbasolution.com](https://chatbot.barbasolution.com) 
to get your API key.

### Is it free?

The plugin is free and open source (GPLv2). The BarbaChatBot service offers free
and paid plans.

### What data is sent to the external service?

To function properly, the plugin sends the chat messages, your API key, and visitor-
provided information (name, email, and IP address) to the BarbaChatBot service for
AI processing. No other WordPress user data or database information is transmitted.

### Can I customize the widget position?

Yes. You can set horizontal/vertical offsets and choose left or right alignment 
in the plugin settings.

### Does it slow down my site?

No. The widget loads asynchronously and adds no database queries to your WordPress
site.
