This plugin allows you to upload Word, Powerpoint and Excel files (doc, docx, ppt, pptx, xls and xlsx) through the media library uploader.

allow-word-powerpoint-file-uploads.phpto the/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
