Upload the entire ASN(Admin Sticky Notes) folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
You will see sticky note in admin menu section
click on sticky note menu

Yes, your data will safe if you deactivate your plugin. only it will vanish if you shut-down your machine.
